Drive growth, Inspire others, Build companies.
About me:
I immigrated to the United States alone at 17, inspired by the immense opportunities.
Putting myself through college, I knew struggle from an early age. I was inspired to start a software company in my dorm, based on a personal experience with a key failure of the insurance industry. Growing it through painful bootstrapping, & even more painful venture fundraising, was foundational. We were acquired when I was 24, a young former ceo, with 60 former team members. The enormous difficulty & personal sacrifice in starting & growing a young company gave me humility & appreciation for others doing it.
I’ve devoted the 10 years since to starting or helping build impactful healthcare companies. From Lark Health, where I was employee #10 & Chief Growth Officer as we scaled to $1 billion, to innumerable smaller but fast growing companies, I’ve seen clearly that the U.S is immensely unique in that it is the only private market in the world for healthcare innovation - therefore producing over 80% of life-changing venture-backed innovators. I’ve been inspired to continue building companies to support healthier lives & access to new types of care, & for the sheer joy of doing impactful things with teams that inspire one another.
